| Sooooooooo... I just finished watching the last episode of Haruhi. That show is just too good. So, naturally, I began searching for the books. Apparently, they aren't officially translated into english yet, so I'm stuck with this... http://www.baka-tsuki.net/project/index.php?title=Main_Page Which really isn't bad, since the parts that I skimmed through quickly coincided nearly perfectly with both the dialogue between characters as well as Kyon's ever-present thought-monologue things. I'm looking forward to it. Also, I've recently taken a really odd obsession with the song "Eye's on Me" from FF VIII. I don't know why, but that song just strikes some emotional chord with me, all of a sudden. | | |
| I've become infected. So, one day, I was perusing my way through the random streets and thoroughfares of the wonderfull little invention/tool that would commonly be referred to as 'the internet,' when all of a sudden, by ways I cannot recall, so we'll just say it was by an act of God himself, I find myself watching the first episode of an interesting little anime called The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzi-something (Suzimaki, I'd guess off hand, but I'm most likely wrong). All's good and peachy and I'm having myself a good laugh, and than comes the ending, in particular the credits. So, the song starts up, and I realize it's vaguely familiar. I continue watching, and see a quirky little dance with all the main characters. Something odd comes to mind, but I can't quite put a finger on it, so I keep on watching. About two thirds the way through, I realize that I've walked straight into your devious trap. Touché. What trap, you say? Well, I suppose I should set the stage, first. A long time ago, probably over a year, I'm not sure the exact date, Amara/Ji Eun (my memory is a little shaky, but if I had to pick one, I'd say it was Ji Eun, but that Amara also left a comment about it) had a video clip on her Xanga with some girls dancing in a very.... odd sort of way, saying that she wanted to find people that would be willing to reinact said dance with her. I didn't think much of it at the time, and just let is slip into the back of my mind. In case you still haven't made the connection, the dance on her site, and the dance during the credits were the same. I've fallen prey to your masterminded plot. God damn you, Amara/Ji Eun, God damn you. You've won this battle. | | |
| I <3 The Matches.
I <3 Motion City Soundrack.
I don't <3 Xanga, but I'm insanely bored outta' my mind, so, here I am.
Allright, so, starting off: school sucks, I hate my life, blah blah blah... Ya' know, the whole normal teenage dillema that everyone comes on Xanga to complain about before/after slitting their wrists while listening to The Blood Brothers or The Cure or some other emo-ish band, and quickly realizing they're too scared to die and but like I've said, that's the standard and really doesn't need to be stated. Yet, this is my Xanga and I choose to state it none-the-less. Yeah, how about that for stickin' it to "The Man".
Moving on now...
As stated, I'm bored outta' my mind. I have nothing to do this weekend other than a drivers ed driving session, which is absolutely useless since I can already drive better than anyone else in the friggin' class. My mind has been wandering to so many random things, recently, but most are elaborate political and/or moral discussions which I won't bother to post now.
Also, I <3 Katamari. (I didn't realize this one 'til just now, so it goes here)
Right-o, than. Anyone want to do something? Anything?
Blah. | | |
| Happy Winter-een-mas to all, and thank you to Ji Eun for reminding me of it. | | |
| Ugh... I've been away from this thing so long... Now I can't remember how I'm supposed to get rid of that wretched MIDI song, even though the real song is pimpin '2 Teh X-Treme!'.
Right. Remind me to never say that one again.
Anyways, summers almost over. Which sucks. Hardcore. But, I suppose I'll make the rest of my summer fun by hanging out with my friends.
That is all. | | |
